10 minutes up the road is bustling Rye, with its castle and pretty harbour as well as everyday facilities you get at home - shops, stores, pubs and restaurants. There is a traditional Farmers Market every Wednesday morning for you to enjoy.

Venture a little further towards historic Hastings through the Sussex countryside and you will find a wealth of local pubs ideal for family lunches.
